Andrea Corbin was born and raised in North Carolina, and always had a interest in one form of art or another. After minoring in art for a couple years in college, she took a break to try and figure out just what it was she wanted to do. That break turned into getting married, moving to Texas, and starting a family. With the birth of her first child, she picked up her first camera, and fell in love. Photography was the medium she’d been looking for all those years. She started snapping shots of everything around her, and learning more and more every day. It started out as just a hobby, as she had another day job. But being an Air Force family, they soon got transferred to Anchorage, Alaska, and Andrea looked at that as an opportunity to move on from the desk job and do what she loved, full time.
